The Highway Dept does NOT know how to plow cul-de-sacs. Huge cul-de-sacs like mine do not need every square inch cleared. This leads to the plow drivers piling up the snow right on the curb and over it, completely covering the sidewalk in feet of snow. Please can you tell your drivers to pile the snow up a few feet IN FRONT OF the curb, to avoid spilling it over onto the sidewalk. It’s okay, we will still have plenty of room to drive through the cul de sac if not every square inch is cleared. They also don’t know how to control side spillage! They always cover the pass they just plowed with snow with the following pass… Dare I have a shocking new revelation. How about we pile all the snow up in the center / middle of the cul de sac. The sidewalk department is very helpful. I've had multiple interactions with Sarah, Denise, and the rest of their team and have no complaints. I prefer going in person over a call and accomplish much more. They are very friendly and kind.

I had to stop tipping these sanitation workers during Christmas time because they come late by about 8 am on Mondays where I am at, they look fed up & frustrated, sighing not wanting to actually do their job & one of my garbage bags that I had to double bag ripped (it happens) because these garbage men think they are lifting clouds of garbage bags, decided to hurl one of my garbage bags like a joke and all the stuff out of it fell out. Mind you the garbage man doesn't want to be there and he made the mess & I watch the one garbage man sigh like a toddler & he in his half ass lazy way of picking up my garbage (that he hurled into the back of the truck) and this garbageman is not caring that he did a horrible job cleaning up the mess HE MADE leaving the rest of my garbage on the ground and s

The exhaust must be broken for the past couple weeks and at 630 in the morning it wakes everyone up. Please fix the exhaust. Update 4years later and I think they've maintained the trucks better. No longer 3 stars Another update they rarely put my pail back. I place it in the street to make it easier for them and even shovel a clean path if there's snow but lately they almost leave it where a car driving by would hit it.
