P J's Grill & Pizza

Thought we’d give a review about PJ’s since we have been ordering from here for a while. Love their pizza, wraps, and salads. We decided to try their pasta this time and had a pleasant experience for delivery. We ordered Alfredo shrimp and penne vodka and food came very warm and tasty.

You cant raise your prices over $10 for a pizza and expect anything more than one star. You can get a normal priced pizza right down the street. $31 for an extra large pizza is ridiculous!!! Won't go back and I have been a customer of theirs for years.

PJ's Grill is located on Easton Avenue in the epicenter of the Rutgers night-life. Sitting between College Avenue Campus and a large population of off-campus housing, this pizzeria is one of the most popular in the Rutgers are. I've had many friends express their opinions to me that PJ's Grill is among the best pizza in New Brunswick. There is more room for seating than most pizzerias in the area and there is usually a large selection to choose from when deciding on a slice to eat. While the establishment lacks in parking, there is some available on Easton Avenue and the nearby streets, though most of the customers are within walking distance to their house. Despite the praises by many, the pizza is pretty average. The plain slice is fairly decent with fresh cheese and good quality sauce.

I am a die hard PJs pizza fan. It's the perfect middle point between thin and thick crust pizza; it's perfectly cheesy and not all oil like a lot of others. But more than that their sandwiches are bomb. The deluxe Philly cheese steak with garlic and a lil 3xtra cheese is my favorite cheat meal! 😅

Today I ordered pasta online (1st time online and 1st time pasta). The portion of charred chicken was huge and came in 35 mins. Even the bread was still hot. This has become my #1 pizza spot since they almost always have white splices and their pizza stands out because its well done and tastes great. Now its my fav place for pizza, hot sandwiches and penne vodka.
