Paanwalla

Tried PaanWalla recently and it truly stands out! The place is clean, vibrant, and the staff are very welcoming. Their menu has a great variety—from flavorful snacks, freshly made paan, refreshing drinks, to delicious pastries. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared, and you can tell they really care about quality and hygiene. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking to enjoy unique Indian flavors

Always love a place that assembles fresh paan customized to the order. Only had paan and chai and yet to try the food. The plan was good but the chai was ok. The decor and service was good.

We went here on a friend's recommendation, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Paanwalla is a small, but welcoming, restaurant. The staff is so friendly and helpful, which is sooo appreciated. My husband and I shared the pani puri (delicious!), I had the paneer puff (delicious!!), he had the grilled paneer puff (delicious!!!). For dessert he had the gulab jamun and I had the Biscoff cheesecake teacup. Yummo both! Of course we had to try the paan. My husband had the special mitha paan, and I had the fire paan. So fun!! Neither of us had tried paan before so we weren't sure what to expect. I have to say that I was happy to have tried it, but the flavors were so intense that I'm not sure I'll do it again - that's just my personal take on it. This place has become my recent favourite and go to place for snack/dinner. It is quite small to accommodate multiple groups, though I have always taken pick up order. The staff are very kind and friendly and remind me of paanwalla/ bhaiya in India and once they were generous to give us a free paan while waiting. My personal favourites here are the Chilli cheese toast (newly added item last week and the best ever ), veg hot dog sandwich and the Bhel puri. They also added aloo tikki burger recently to the menu. The burger was great but could have little more cheese and the sauces. Hope they keep up the standards and continue serving well.

We visited this place two week ago. Its truly a unique and tasty fast-food experience. Prices are reasonable. Vada paav and Bombay sandwiches were the best. And paan is addictive! We packed 10 of them. 😍 I will be stopping by everytime I am in Chicago.
