Pa’l Carajo Arepa Lounge

Visited this place as a recommendation from my friend and it was amazing! So good actually that I came back for a second day in a row. We enjoyed our food at the restaurant, it was delicious. We took some food home and found that a piece of hair was inside of our (cheese stick? Unsure of the actual name, I’m sorry!) I’m so disappointed. It was embedded into the cheese itself, so much so we could not even pull it out, so I know it did not come from us somehow. I would love to give this place another shot but after getting a piece of hair stuck in between my teeth, I’m not sure :(

A nice restaurant with good food and a great atmosphere. The service was impecable and that alone should be deserving of a 5 ⭐ review. However, because I eat out a lot, I can say that the food, while good, wasn't impressive. I definitely recommend of you want some tasty arepas. Prices were moderate.

Always looked like a fun place when I drove by and finally went a few weeks ago with friends for dinner. It was amazing. Our waitress, Brenda, was incredibly kind and helpful. She talked us through the menu and made great recommendations. We all ended up getting the grilled arepa llanera- a delicious combo of avocado, steak and cheese with a sauce. We also tried different sides- I had the tequenos which were sooo good. For beverages - they had a great happy hour and we got $7 blackberry sangria that was a perfect addition. I think we all enjoyed it. But I will say our overall favorite was their green garlic sauce. They need to bottle it- its that good! Also- almost EVERYTHING was gluten free! Overall it was a great experience. Will definitely go again!

I ordered on Uber Eats and this arepa is by far the best I’ve ever had. I moved recently from Florida where I had plenty of great arepas but this one is the best. The meat was incredible, plantains perfectly cooked, everything perfect. The arepa de pabellon paired with the garlic sauce will not disappoint.

The absolute best food I've had in 10 years. (Next to my wife's cooking of course). 1st time here. Will come back as often as possible. We had the combination parilla plate with tostones and a beef and cheese empanada as a side. I had to force myself to stop eating so I could go back to work, as the portion was ample in size. Will be back. This is one of those places you bring people from out of town to brag!!
