Palm Thai Bistro

I thought the food was absolutely delicious here! Service was good too. I ordered the larb because I never tried to before and my coworkers got drunken noodles and mango sticky rice. The flavors were great and portions were generous. Prices were reasonable too.

We ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp, beef with eggplant, and the pumpkin curry chicken—each dish had its own identity and richness. The chili chicken added the perfect level of heat without overpowering the dish, and the papaya salad (ordered medium spice) was a refreshing balance to the heavier options. The sticky rice was soft and satisfying, especially when paired with the pumpkin curry. The pineapple fried rice came out steaming hot, with fresh ingredients and generous protein. The food was pretty good (4 stars) but the service was non-existent. We kept trying to flag our server but it was nearly impossible. Eventually we got someone else to get us water after our food had came out.

I enjoyed the food, the staff, and service. The space is small and intimate however, so for a retiring person such as myself, I don't the feeling of personal privacy as much as I would like.

We had lunch here on the way to Sacramento (around 12pm) and seated immediately. We ordered pad thai with chicken and sweet chili chicken with extra white rice. The food came out pretty quickly (about 5-10minutes). The pad thai chicken was delicious! I am picky about the sauce on pad thai and the sauce had the right amount of sweet-salty-sour combo. They also gave generous amount of chicken pieces & fried tofu. The sweet chili chicken was also good! The chicken pieces were fried until they were super crispy. The sauce wasn't spicy at all but more sweet & tangy. It was perfect when eaten with the white rice. We were satisfied with the quality of food and the taste. We will come back when we are in the area.
