Panaderia Criolla -Café Bakery

If you’re anywhere near Lawrenceville, do yourself a favor and stop by Panadería Criolla Bakery. This spot is the real deal. Authentic Argentine and Uruguayan treats, made the way they’re supposed to be. The facturas were outstanding. The medialunas were soft, buttery, and paired perfectly with my mate. It’s not easy to find a solid selection of Yerba Mate in the U.S., but they actually carry a great variety. That alone makes it worth the visit if you’re into mate. My daughter went with a croissant stuffed with salami and loved it. My wife ordered a sandwich and was just as impressed. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. But what really sets this bakery apart is the people. The service was warm, welcoming, and genuine. I had a great conversation with the staff about Yerba Mate

The best lil hidden gem! Just Amazing & Delicious…. Been there couple times & every single time treated like family….. Only have tried few things from the menu; but all I gotta say is Amazing!!!!! Their coffee is great, their pastries are just outstanding…..

My friend and I visited for the first time today. She said she loved how cozy it felt. The women who helped us was really nice and told us what everything was made of. I'm so glad I live 30 min away, because I'd be there everyday. The croissants are soft and buttery. The sweets are not too sweet. I took some home to family and they also fell in love. One thing that can be improved is breakfast. The omelet was overcooked & I could make a better sandwich at home.

Please come and try this bakery's, I was driving by and happened to see it as I was driving. The food is delicious and the service is great. The pastries and food is good too. I took stuff to go to bring to a friend's and it was a great decision. Next time I'll dine in and get one coffees too. My only complaint is the bread that is used for making the ham and cheese sandwiches. It's dry and unflavored. If they could fix that, I'll be more then happy to give this a 5 out of 5

I dearly recommend this place. Just as you enter the vibe is very welcoming, the lady at the counter is so sweet I felt at home. The menu for breakfast and lunch offers good variety. I tried the Italian Panini and the Egg Sandwich, both were tasty and fresh. There’s also a good variety of biscuits, desserts and traditional Argentinian products.
