Panaderia Mexicana Cardenas

As soon as I walked in, there’s was only one lady visible arranging the breads. I said hi. She didn’t respond I bought a dozen different assortment of breads and they were tasteless. Old bread. All of them. Absolutely nothing to brag about. And the lady at the register had the most sourpuss face you can imagine. I said hello to her first and she responded with a dry hi and most annoyed look. She must be the owner bc why else would you have someone with that kind of attitude working the front end of your store?! If she isn’t the owner I’d say train her better to be a little more engaging or atleast say hi to paying customers or get rid of her once and for all. I’d never recommend nor go back.

Good bread but terrible service. That tall girl with the thick eyebrows and heavy makeup in the cash register only knows how to throw bread into a bag and roll her eyes at customers. She also wouldn't talk and would just judge people. The bread is good, but this place definitely needs better employees that know how to serve people with a smile.

Great selection of Mexican sweet bread. The bread is really tasty. Definitely recommend. The price is reasonable and the staff is very friendly. They make cakes as well. It's a must try!

I have heard of this place for years and finally made it in! It is not close to where I live but so worth it! The bread is made there and you can smell the wonderful aroma early in the morning. I went this past Saturday around 9am and it got busy in a couple of minutes! If you are looking for tasty, fresh, homemade Mexican sweet bread, this is the place to go! I have tried bread in various mini stores and nothing comes as close as Panaderia Cardenas. It sure was worth it! The bread is stocked and they have a large variety. I got conchas, mantecadas, empanadas, cuernitos, bolillos, teleras, donas and super affordable. It ranges from $1 to $1.50 and it is really flavorful. They sell tamales, gelatinas and they have a small grocery section. Their big seller is definitely the Mexican bread

The sweetest and nicest owners ever! The bread is amazing, soft, delicious, fresh and authentic! Definitely recommend this place!
