Panda Express

​I stopped in here for lunch because I was hungry and figured, why not? When I walked in, I noticed it looked like an updated Panda Express location, it was very clean, well-maintained, and had a good amount of seating. The staff was moving fast and working hard to get everyone served. ​I got my standard go-to, the Honey Walnut Shrimp, but decided to try the new menu item: the Dynamite Sweet and Sour Chicken. There were warning stickers all over the place about the heat, and the woman taking my order even warned me, "It's very, very hot." I told her, "I'm good, I got it." ​The classics were exactly what I wanted. The fried rice was consistent and not too greasy. I used to enjoy Panda Express, though I haven’t visited frequently lately. While in the Landover area, I decided to grab a meal at this location. Unfortunately, the food was bland and even somewhat unappetizing ,I ended up throwing most of it away. It was a big disappointment and didn’t come close to the signature flavorful entrees I remember from Panda Express.

I usually go to panda express with my daughter and typically we share the biggie plate. One staple and three entrees. We get healthy greens, rice, Beijing beef and orange chicken. We also get one order of spring rolls. If everything is fresh it can’t be beat if they have been sitting under heating lamp it’s something else.

I come here from time to time, but I would definitely avoid it if served by the Asian man with glasses (manger) he goes by the book and will count all to portion including shrimp. At other locations, this is not enforced. If you were to ask for a fresh entree, they became rather upset, but noon time is peak lunch, so this should not be the case as when requested a folk of additional guest came. So, no harm done as lilttle to none was avail of the firework shrimp.The watermelon lemonade was so run down with excessive water, so it was much bland to say. I'd recommend visiting other panda establishments rather than this one if you see the manager as described.
