Panda Express

This Panda Express in Lake Stevens right off of highway 9 is one of Lake Stevens newest fast food restaurants. The Chinese fare here is typical Americanized Chinese cuisine, but is still pretty good. All the food has a lot of sodium, so if you are salt restricted you have to be careful about what you order; they do have nutrition information on their website. Otherwise, they have a lot of foods to choose from. My personal favorite is the orange chicken and rice, but you can't go wrong with anything you decide to order. The staff is friendly and make your food very quickly. There is a large drive-thru for your convenience, although I haven't been through it so I don't know if you can order there or on the app. I HAVE eaten inside at one of the customer tables. We were so excited to finally get a Panda in lake stevens so we went there for an early dinner with our daughter. Ordered a biggie plate w/ sesame shrimp & beef and it was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. There were probably 4 pieces of shrimp & no beef. Crazy bc that entree was also an up charge. All of our plates were extremely small. At other Panda’s, you could expect at the very least that the rice would a heaping scoop. The kids meal must’ve been meant to feed a toddler bc there’s no way a child over the age of 3 could be full off the 3-4 pieces of orange chicken given. Hopefully the girl that helped us was new and this isn’t a standard thing or else we’d rather hit up an actual restaurant down the street for the price we paid. Geniunely shocked. This is THE best Panda Express I’ve ever had. Everytime I’m up in the area I have to come back. So clean so fresh amazing staff so friendly and so sociable! I just LOVE it! Wait times can be long but man oh man what can I say KUDOS to the manager here! Talk about systems in place to make a restaurant run well! THE BEST EXAMPLE IVE SEEN IN FAST FOOD in almost all my years! Panda Express should be proud of this location!

Great staff. Food prepped before scheduled time, was super easy to pick up. Parking is somewhat difficult, but that may be fixed if the dirt lot just east will get paved at some point. Great location, right off Highway 9. Highly recommend!

I came to this new location today. My order came out to 9.51. I paid $10 cash and was owed $.49 in change. The employee said that due to the store having no pennies, they were rounding up. I thought this meant I’d get 45 cents change, but instead they rounded up to the nearest DOLLAR and gave me no change. My receipt called this a “donation.” This is theft! It may just be $.49 cents but how much does it add up to across all their customers? This is unacceptable and I want this made right. I’ve filed a corporate complaint as well. This was my first time visiting this new location, and will be the LAST if Panda Express and/or the location’s management does not rectify this immediately.
