Panda Express

We have eaten at panda plenty of times in the state but this one is our new favorite... Ryan and a team behind the wok did an amazing job when you first walk in the restaurant, you'll notice how clean it is as well as when you approach the counter. We've been to many pandas and sometimes when you get there there are quite a few things they're out of not here. Upon getting to the counter all of the bowls were full, looked fresh and everything was clean. After placing our order, one of the items I wanted was a few minutes out. We were asked if we had a problem waiting. We said no. As we paid for our order, we both ordered Waters but were told we could have a complimentary drink while we waited. Ordered out. Very quick service and good quality food. The servers were willing to do a favor. The bathrooms were clean and modern.

The food is fine - not great, but OK. And I appreciate that the dining area is kept very clean. One thing I subtracted a star for is that they don't serve food on plates if you are dining in. Instead, all food (dine-in and carry out) is served in styrofoam containers. Seems cheap and wasteful.

While I was standing in line at Panda Express, the employee named Eunice repeatedly touched the food with her bare hands — including the food in my container. When I brought this to her attention, she angrily grabbed my container and threw it into the trash with force. She then denied touching anything, despite the fact that I clearly saw her using her bare hands to grab chow mein and noodles directly from the food tray — without gloves. This is a serious violation of food safety protocols. Immediate action must be taken — otherwise someone could get seriously ill or even die from such unhygienic practices. People who behave this way should not be allowed to handle food under any circumstances. I am a former chef and food service worker, and I know how dangerous and unacceptable this is
