Panda House

I call in my regular order of rib tips and chicken chow mein weekly ( my old-school favorite dish) and they do not disappoint! Since I moved to West Hempstead I never thought I would find my favorite place! They even know my number and name now! I'm forever appreciative!

Typical hole in the wall Chinese restaurant along Old Country Rd in Mineola. Near a hospital and a police headquarters and office buildings, so you see them eat here at lunch. Beside a Dunkin Donuts as well you can order drink from there. Overall, no frills hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, decent chicken wings.

Food was horrible. Ordered vegetable chow mein, shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein. Everything over cook soggy and just nit well prepared. I called told the lady on the phone and she did not try to accommodate me she said “the cooks are the cooks” I said well the need to be fired because food was horrible. I will never ever order from here again.

I ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised. From ordering to delivery took less than 30 minutes .The hunan shrimp was very tasty and the portions were very generous. I just found my new go to for Chinese,)

I honestly ordered from here by accident. For some reason I thought it was Panda Express. So I was looking for Chinese on Uber Eats and came across this place. Upon checking Yelp, I noticed the ratings weren’t too high but decided to give it a try thinking it was Panda Express and it shouldn’t be that bad lol. I ordered the Shrimp Chow Mein combination special and the General Tso’s chicken (White rice - Medium Spicy). The chow mein was a little bland. As for the General Tso’s chicken, it was AMAZING. I was so glad to see the option to be able to pick my spice level. I ended up having the chicken with chow mein and it tasted great together!!! There’s a lot of food “packed” into the takeaway box, and I still have a lot left for the weekend. Good times! ;)
