Panda

CHICKEN 🐔 is SYNTHETIC. Extremely stringy. I was not able to eat the food I ordered. I gone throu 25% of therql and I had to stop. When I have to chew the meat like a gum, this is not good. I couldn't even cut though the chicken 🐔 cause is was so stringy. Only pro is that they got the flavors right.

Kinda a small place you might otherwise overlook! I was headed to get a sub before I realized Chinese was an option. This was a quick lunch stop…fast, friendly, and courteous service. I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and a Pork Egg Roll with a drink. This was my first opportunity to see my order in Chinese!

This location, from what I heard, had just a banger of a day and had run out of most things and just couldn’t keep the store open as a result. I had unknowingly slipped in before they could lock the doors to use the restroom. Upon coming out to order this magic employee woman told me the above. She went above and beyond to fill my order with what she could, which was all still available btw, and encouraged me to come back on a better day. And I absolutely will. The thing is, I don’t get to have Panda often and was super excited for it tonight and this magic employee woman tonight made it happen just for me when she could have easily just told me “we’re closed”. I wish I got her name. Thank you magic employee woman! See you on Friday!

Full transparency, the photos I uploaded are not great. But, it dawned on me that we've enjoyed take out from Panda for a few years now and I wanted to share our great experience w/ the folks there, so I uploaded what I had. Good Chinese take-out, prepared promptly .. what more can you ask.

Just a fair warning… One of my grandchildren got food poisoning from the chicken and broccoli here, He was the only one that ate it, and he ate all of it and became violently ill starting the next morning, continuing for two days and is still recovering. He was the only one that got sick. Believe me, you can’t tell by the taste. He said it tasted fine. Thank goodness, the rest of us are vegetarians and didn’t eat any meat> just Chinese vegetablesl I would like to add that we have been getting Chinese takeout here for more than 15 years... The food has been up and down through the years, sometimes good - sometimes awful. Sometimes fresh - sometimes tasting old. You never know what you’re gonna get. I realize this can happen anywhere, but without knowledge, you can’t make better choices.
