Best pizza I've had in years took long but very quiet for a Saturday long wait worth it

I had one of the best pizzas I have ever had last night! Sausage, extra mushrooms and extra cheese. It was so fresh. The crust was perfectly cooked. Absolutely delicious!

Why is this place open until 10 pm if they don't serve slices after when??. It's your store why not just close if it's not busy enough? 8:40pm and you can't get a slice of pizza. I don't run any pizza joints but maybe that could be part of the reason your stores are disappearing. It's a shame because the pizza is good for anyone who likes a thin slice. Irrelevant if you can't get it even if the store is open tho

The only consistent thing about Papa Gino's is how inconsistent they can be. Some days the food is great with no complaints. Other days... well. You can order extra cheese and when you get it home you wonder if the request just disappeared between ordering and making. Cheese sticks can swing from completely covered with cheese to maybe a small splat of cheese in the center (after adding $1.50 for extra cheese). Steak and cheese sub can swing from delicious to burnt with minimal unmelted cheese (after adding $1.50 for extra cheese).

Papa Gino’s has been my favorite pizza since I was a wee one. There aren’t many left, but this one is a short drive for me. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The food is the highlight. I don’t what I will do if they ever close. Perhaps hope for an early death.
