I haven’t had Papa John’s in over 14 years, and honestly, my last experience wasn’t great. I vividly remember feeling like I was eating a piece of paper topped with fairly decent-flavored toppings. Fast forward to this evening, as I was arriving home from work, I spotted a little flyer wedged in my gate—a 50% off deal for Papa John’s. I debated it for a while. My last encounter was disappointing, and I don’t like wasting money on food that doesn’t deliver. But hey, it’s been over a decade, and surely they’ve made some improvements, right? The people that work here are amazing! I was hosting a Pokémon-themed birthday party for me and my younger sister and I asked them if they could do two pizzas in the design of Pokéballs. They were all ecstatic to make the pizzas, especially since a few of them were Pokémon fans themselves! The atmosphere was great, the pizzas were even better! If you're interested in a pizza like this, I would definitely hit them up!

I ordered a pizza for pick up. I got off work over an hour late and called to make sure they still had it. Explained the situation and the employee was so nice he had it remade fresh for me. I ordered a $9.99 pizza online only to find out that I had to spend a minimum of $12.50 to have it delivered. Papa John's is 4 minutes away from me. I had to order an extra beverage just to get delivery and it drove the price up significantly. It didn't used to be this way. I won't be ordering from Papa John's again.

I ordered the ultimate pepperoni and while I was eating, I bit into something hard and spat this out. I can't tell if it's a piece of plastic or a tooth but it definitely made me question the quality of pizza. It was cooked into the pizza at one point because I didn't see it before taking a bite.
