Papin's Mexican Restaurant and Bar

My husband and I stopped by because it was close to our house and we were not disappointed! We had the appetizer trio which was so good. I had the shrimp, chicken, and beef fajitas which were pretty good as well. My husband had the chicken mole which he liked. The corn tortillas we got were amazing and so soft. We also took some tacos home and they were great reheated later! All of the drinks we had were strong and tasted great! I wish I remembered the name or our server because she was super attentive and took good care of us. We will definitely be coming back!

Not just good...AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD!!!! when I tell you, all I eat is Mexican food in Dallas. And this is by the far the best I've ever had. The margaritas were delicious too. I ordered the pork in green sauce which was soooo delicious. My boyfriend ordered the steak and it was equally as good. Wow. We just happened to drive by, so glad we stopped in. The outside looks kind of like an office building, but the inside is so clean and modern. You have to give this Mexican food a try!! I swear this is the best food in the DFW metroplex. If youre in mesquite, sunnyvale, forney, or garland this is a MUST TRY. We cant wait to come back

We stopped in for lunch. Salsa and fajitas were solid. I had the Asado De Puerco En Salsa. It was very flavorful! Cute place. Clean and organized.

Taylor was a wonderful service provider. Very patient and full of helpful suggestions. The Sunnyvale Salad was fresh and delicious with flavorful hot beef fajita slices, mixed greens, avocado and much more. Very filling. Tasty tortilla chips and hot sauce with a mild heat. Misial and Liz made sure I was enjoying myself. Will be back.

SOOOOOOO GOOD. I ordered the empanadas, and my husband got the carne asada giant burrito. My husband said this is the best burrito he's had in Texas (he's a burrito "snob"). The salsa is absolutely delicious. And then they brought my husband 2 different salsas for his burrito and.. wow. Soooo flavorful! My kid said even their chicken quesadilla was the best she's ever had. My husband made me taste my other kids chicken nuggets because it was also really tasty. Everything was awesome. Prices were very affordable! Not many people in here on a Saturday night, though. Which is fine if you don't wanna battle the crowds... but with how amazing the food is, this place should be PACKED. We live pretty far but we'll definitely be making the drive back often! Come check it out!!!
