Papi's Tacos Towson

I had the wonderful opportunity of dining at Papi’s Taco Joint in Towson, Md. Upon entering, I asked, did they have a gluten-free menu and our wonderful waitress Jazz, who was so professional, helpful, and well informed guided me every step of the way. Her suggestions were top-notch. My food was absolutely delicious and this is the first time in almost 7 years that I have had a fajita! The homemade gluten-free tortillas and salsa was to die for! The care and assistance given was greatly appreciated. Who do I need to talk to get Jazz a pay raise!! If you’re looking for a gluten-free meal, where the helping are abundant and the time, attention and detail is paid to you as the customer as well your food, Then look no more Papi’s Taco Joint is 10/10

My husband and I decided to try Papi's Taco's for the first time for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. First, the pros: It wasn't crowded, and the decor was cute, warm, and inviting. The server and hostess were very kind and fairly prompt. Now for the cons: The food was bland and unappetizing. My husband got the ribeye tacos on corn tortillas with a "mordita" (?) salsa. Not sure if this was supposed to be a take on a chile morita salsa, but while slightly smoky, it didn't add substantively to the meal. I got the chicken tortilla soup, which was extremely disappointing. Thick, mealy, with the flavor, smell, and consistency of vomit, it had little to recommend it. Luckily, there wasn't much of it to be had. Unfortunately, that small pot (and yes, it does come in a cute little cauldron) was $9.

Food was very tasty and came out quickly. I was welcomed a little late at the door but overall service was good! I definitely recommend and my server was Gabby!

I don't come here that often but I have been coming for a few years now, and every time I come I'm completely satisfied! The staff remembers me even when I haven't been there for months at a time. The food is always great and so are the drinks. The gringo tacos and elote are my favorite! Shout out to Pez and Jazz for always giving the best service and being quick, attentive and welcoming. I was served by Justin over the Winter as well and he made me a really good seasonal martini and provided great service.
