Customer Reviews
I personally have never been to a greek restaurant so we had a lot of questions. The lady at the counter answered all of our questions for me and my friend. I Enjoyed the falafel platter, while my friend had the gyro platter. It was all fantastic from the salad to the pita. I would say that the tahiti sauce isn't my favorite, but the taziki sauce was fantastic. I would definitely go again to get the gyro on Wednesday for the 13$ special as the gyro had a generous portion of meat. Lastly I would say this is a great spot for a few friends to hang out as it's interior is very fresh and clean.
Pappoule's is a great place to eat Greek food. I had the pleasure of dining in and was very happy I did. The place is attractive and modern and has patio dining. It is very clean and has great customer service. I had the Gyro platter. So delicious. A huge Greek salad full of Feta and olives and vinaigrette dressing came with a meaty, fresh, flavor explosion of Gyro meat, onions and pita type bread with a creamy yogurt sauce for dipping. Huge portion and two could probably split it and still be satisfied. Good price as well. I will be back again.
Clean fast food spot. However, this is not greek food. This is americanized wanna be greek food. Nothing here is traditional greek. Massive cut tomato/onion/thick pita. With very minor changes they could make the food more authentic and enjoyable but this is a one and done situation for me. The fact that this place has 4.6 stars is further support that this city does not know what good food is. This place would not survive a year in Phoenix.
Decent food and fast service. The lamb was a tad on the dry side. Over all ok but nothing to write home about. Worth a try though. Lemon soup was very good.
Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. But food was still super yummy and would definitely return. The baklava was 4$ for a super tiny slice though so we definitely would not buy that again. It was very good though.
