The shop is quaint and the staff is polite. The desserts looked really tempting so we decided to try out different items, the pricing is fair and honestly the first time I go into a bakery and they weigh full size items (usually bakeries weigh their pastries when they’re those miniature sized ones). My go to item to make sure that the pastries are up to par is the plain old butter French croissant. We also ordered the Dubai chocolate croissant and a Bavarian cream filled doughnut. Like I mentioned the desserts and pastries looked lovely. Now for taste, the doughnut was a typical doughnut. The croissants on the other hand even though they looked great just didn’t taste that good, nothing to differentiate them but when your name your bakery, Paris bakery, I honestly was expecting a proper, s
I paid $31 for about seven pieces of bread. The staff mentioned there was no extra charge to fill the bread, which I appreciated. Customer service was good, and the bakery itself looks clean, upscale, and well put together. Unfortunately, the bread itself was underwhelming. While it looked very appealing, the flavor didn’t live up to its appearance. The bread was bland and served cold—offering to warm it up would have made a big difference. For the price, I expected much better flavor. Would I return? Probably not.
The pastries at Paris Bakery were excellent! I enjoyed a flaky, buttery almond and berry pastry with a refreshing iced coffee. Definitely a great spot for a delicious treat in Brownsville.
Had been excited to try this place. Went in on a Saturday morning was greeted by friendly staff. Place looked nicely decorated and clean. For food we ordered kolaches, biscuit and regular coffee. Was not very impressed and the coffee was too watered down.
I’d been meaning to try this place ever since I saw that it was going to open, my family and I had noticed it on Alton Gloor but it was never opened until this month so we were really anticipating this to be good but I have to say that this place left much to be desired. First of all my family and I tried the pistachio donuts and I got a coffee, the donut tasted nothing like pistachio just like bread with sugar on it so I was a bit disappointed. I also got an Iced Vanilla Latte which was honestly really good, probably my favorite thing I got to taste from here and I would recommend it, my mom also got a coffee, we ended up paying nearly $20. I also want to talk about the service, the workers are somewhat nice but I feel like there is favoritism towards a certain type of people which I real
