Park Chalet

Fantastic experience! The food was incredibly tasty and full of flavor — we practically inhaled it. We sat outside with our two dogs, and the staff immediately brought them water, which we really appreciated. It was wonderful to see that every outdoor table had a dog enjoying lunch with their people. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and truly dog-friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Park Chalet – San Francisco Park Chalet offers a relaxed coastal vibe with tasty food, scenic views, and great outdoor seating right by Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach. The menu features solid pub-style fare—like fish & chips and flatbreads—alongside local beers and cocktails. Live music on weekends adds to the fun, laid-back atmosphere. Perfect for a sunny afternoon or casual night out. Just note that service can be slow when it’s busy, and parking may take some patience. Great for: Outdoor dining, live music, casual drinks with a view.

Fantastic sea food. Great views. Delicious cocktails. Good service. Was my first time here and regret why I haven’t tried this over the last 9 years been living in Bay Area. Highly recommend this restaurant when you are in the north beach area and the the Golden Gate Park side.

What a holiday disappointment. The Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu we had is listed below. The small salad (with bitter endive, which I liked, others didn't) with no choice of dressing (at least none was offered, there was just a hint of dressing already on it). "Turkey" was two marginally warm slices of a small turkey roll, an ice cream scoop of dressing, some unremarkable potatoes, and a few roasted veggies. The apple crisp was pretty good, it would have been nice if it were warmed up, but nothing else served for dinner was particularly warm either. Other members of our party didn't think the cheesecake or squash soup was anything to write home about. Server was delightful, and it's a nice environment. Nice indoor and outdoor dining for pet lovers. Being able to sit inside with our pooch is a big plus when there is drizzle during the summer days. Service is great and the restaurant is clean. The foods we had were okay but the cocktail drink was superb.
