Park27 Korean BBQ and Bar - Centennial Park

As a Midtown local, we’ve been to Park 27’s Midtown location many times and it never disappoints. So when we heard they opened a new spot right across from the Georgia Aquarium, we had to try it — especially with family visiting from NY. The location is perfect after a day at the GA Aquarium. The meat quality is excellent, portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Jun was our server and he was amazing — super attentive, friendly, and helpful. He made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. If you’ve never tried Korean BBQ before, this is a great place to start. It’s fun, interactive, and perfect for families or groups. Whether you’re local or visiting Atlanta, definitely add this to your list. You won’t be disappointed!

Entering the restaurant the staff is very friendly and welcoming. When we ordered our food we had no idea what to expect as we had never been there before. I got the ribeye and my daughter got the glass noodles. My meal came with a myriad of wonderfully tasty vegetables, salad and rice. Unfortunately I attacked my meal immediately and forgot to take pictures! The food was delightful and the atmosphere was comfortable. If you are in Atlanta near the Georgia aquarium, I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes Korean barbecue.

I have to say, the food, service and ambiance here are all spot on, probably some of the best I've had for any KBBQ. They had great attention to detail for their cuts and marinades. Salad, cheese, banchan, and steamed eggs come with all your orders. I have All of the banchan have great flavors. I believe my cousin and I are 4 bowls of the cucumber kimchi on our own, disregarding the rest of our family. And, you know what, they readily refilled it on request and weren't stingy with the refill too. For this establishment, they cook the food for you. The tteokbokki is great. I've had better but I've usually had a lot worst. If you're visiting the aquarium or any of Atlanta's other sites by Centennial Park, you owe it to yourself to grab a bite here.

My experience at Pork 27 was enjoyable, especially since it’s a restaurant where they cook the food right in front of you. Everything was delicious, and I enjoyed every dish they brought us. I ordered the pork and beef for two people, and the portion was very generous. The only thing I didn’t like was our waitress: she brought things to the table and walked away quickly, and when the vegetables were grilling, she forgot about them. I felt she didn’t provide the personalized attention that the experience deserves and handled the dishes without much care. On the other hand, the other servers assisted us well and everything flowed perfectly. I would definitely return because it’s a calm place where you can explore and enjoy food from another country.

The inside was nice and employees greeted us in and out. The food portion was perfect, but the selection was okay. We got canned drinks too and our server didn’t check up on us except when she turned off the heat. We had to get her attention for the bill, but it may have just been a long night for her.
