Parlin Memorial Library

Very nice and helpful staff, and they have a lot of good books, but I get concerned when the school kids swarm in and immediately go to the computer. Other than that, it's very good and I loved the Halloween party they had a few weeks ago!!! :)

I have a lot of bad things to say about this library but I will keep it nice and simple. Firstly, why is the staff extremely rude, I was once walking to get a book and one of the staff gave me a rude look. To add on, this library reeks!! it’s extremely smelly and honestly needs some air refresher. To make things worst the kids there are disrespectful and ignorant towards the older people, and they are very loud. The overall worst thing about this place is the whole environment itself, why is everyone miserable and rude. Please fix your environment not only for the vibes but for the smell too!

If I can give this library a 0 I would. Every time I step foot into this library it is so depressing and off. Also, the staff is ignorant and rude and the places to work never make me feel comfortable. The worst thing about this library is the staff. I never feel welcome when I walk in. Not only that it always smells so bad, and theres a bathroom for a reason! However, I know why no one uses it - because no one cleans it and flies are everywhere! Please do yourself justice and never come here and save your self from the trenches of doom and despair!!

It is actually very nice, lots of books,i don't understand how would they give a bad review, they are super nice and willingly to help anyone, very warm and cozy space. 10/10

Parlin is an absolutely beautiful library. The renovations and updates they've been doing throughout the pandemic really show. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, especially the children's staff downstairs. They run several programs every week so you should check their website to see if there is anything you want to do
