I visited a couple weeks ago and I'm still dreaming about the candy I took back to SoCal with me. We passed through Eureka and decided to stop at Partrick's on a whim, and I DEEPLY regret not buying more candy!! The store clerk was very polite and patient and the candy was, of course, delicious. I'm stopping here again next time I'm in Eureka!

What a gem! Local, handmade, historic candy shop. This should be a required stop when on the 101. Mostly fresh chocolates to purchase, but they have candy behind the counter too.

By far the best place around to get some in house made sweets and for a great price. They have tons of options in both milk and dark chocolate. I especially love the old school candy shop style and vibes, staff is always so friendly and helpful.

I’ve been buying my holiday candy here for over 4 years, spending an average of $500 a year here. On a recent trip they were incredibly rude and refused to accept my moms debit card because it was my dads name on the card. I offered to buy the candy she had intended on purchasing, and I calmly informed them that it s no longer standard practice to refuse a sale after the purchaser declines to provide identification (Visa and MasterCard actually prohibit merchants from refusing sales on the basis of identification), and they decided not to sell the candy to me either, which is pretty absurd given that I was calm and polite the entire time.
