Pasadena Public Library: Fairmont

It a nice little library to study in. I usually come here if I want to study of finish some work that I don't want to do at home. They provide good services and have plenty of events. I only wish the customer service was a little bit better from the front desk staff, they tend to be nice but sometimes lack patience. It can also get a little bit loud at times. I understand that it's meant to be a place for children, at times it gets a little to loud if you just want to read or study.

Pretty nice branch and clean. Quite a few people were using the computers for frivolous activities but it's a public library. The selection mainly consist of teen and children's books, very limited reference and non fiction books, great if that's your thing but you'll want to consider the main Pasadena branch if you need other genres. The graphic novels were pretty extensive though. The lights in the parking lot were not working at night when I visited.

Great experience checking out a few books and my kids picked a BluRay to watch on his Xbox. I had a wonderful time looking for my books at the library. It was very clean and staff was very helpful.

These two ladies are honestly the most rudest front desk people I’ve ever encountered this was actually my 2nd time coming here and they did the same act very rude , kept interrupting me while I was working mentioning my child was not drawing so they insist that I pick them up off the floor she was sitting by me doing what kids do , she tried to show me the cute orange horse the lady said loudly that it has to stay in the corner she kept repeatedly saying things that she doesn’t like my child doing which was not a problem considering they have a area for children and it’s an open library, today was pretty slow and I felt offended of them keep picking on me and my daughter and also my friend that came to fill out job applications. Library experience is suppose to be a peaceful , collective
