Hands down my favorite bakery in all of Virginia!! I make the 3 hour drive from northern va all of the time because nowhere else compares to Maria’s pastries. She makes all of my birthday cakes and I recommend her to everyone. Everything is always so good and fresh but some of my personal favorites are the brownies, lemon cupcakes, and the horchata. 10/10 every time

DO NOT COME HERE I came here to place an order on September 14th for my daughter’s birthday party on November 15th. (About 3 months in advance) I placed my order with the owner Maria (who makes the cakes herself) I showed her these two photos and sent them to her like she asked. She said she could easily get it done no problem. I also got a 4inch round smash cake both prepaid for. Three days before my pickup date I went to make sure everything will be how I wanted it to look. She then tells me she has nothing to make this cake and there was “no detail given for it”. (Again, she took the order herself and had two photos to reference. Which apparently she lost.) She had my phone number but never reached out to me, I have no idea what she would have done if I didn’t show up to double check

Hello everyone i wanted to inform you me and my sister came to that bakery right back the hair store on a lovely evening after shopping we got hungry so we sawed the store and it just opened and me and my sister ordered a cake pop I had vanilla and my sister had vanilla as well , mines had mold in it it was so disgusting and disgusting I threw up afterwords , I will never go back or consider my self to go back to that store ever you guys can try it out by i dont advise you to go to that store but go upon your self thanks for trying to offer us more but we couldn’t take it because it was the nastiest thing was we saw and we got our refund. The lady was super nice though.

I went about 2 weeks ago. I got 1 chocoflan, 1 regular flan, 1 tres leches and 1 red velvet cake. The only good thing I had was the tres leches. I told the cashier I’m paying cash. She proceed to tell me the amount. I paid and I sent the receipt to my phone. I decided to try it inside my car and I was like let me check the receipt and se show much everything was. I checked and I saw they charged me a card fee even tho I paid cash. Make sure you guys check your receipts if you paying cash for they won’t charge you that card fee. I told them and they gave it back but shouldn’t have gone back just to get my money back. I wouldn’t go back tho they weren’t as good as I thought they would be and they expensive for the amount they give. 10 dollars for a piece of flan.

I recently ordered a cake for my son from Pasteles de María, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of. They were friendly, patient, and truly went above and beyond to help me choose the perfect cake. You can tell they take pride not only in their work, but also in the way they treat their customers. The cake itself was absolutely amazing. The design was beautiful, detailed, and better than what I had imagined. You can see the love and craftsmanship in every part of it. And the taste wow. Moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
