Pastry Palace Bakery

Went in looking for bread, came out with a box full of pastries!! The gentleman working really does care about what he does you can tell in his baking and how he treats his customers. He was saying that after he closes he’s going to deliver a box to one of his regulars who can’t drive!! Everything tastes great and I love supporting local, stop by the pastry palace!

Pastry Palace Bakery is a sweet find! The baker is from the Snowflake Bakery in Syracuse, and it shows—especially in the Strawberry Cake, which is hands-down the best I’ve ever had (seriously!). The rugelach is fantastic, and the cookies and muffins are always fresh and flavorful. A great spot for anyone who loves quality baked goods made with care.

When I was a kid, everyone’s most requested birthday cake was the strawberry whipped cream cake with chocolate diamonds from Snowflake Bakery (it closed many many years ago). However, Fran, a former baker at Snowflake has his own Bakery now. I decided to go down memory lane, and let me tell you, 35 plus years later it tastes exactly as I remember! The identical recipe! Pure nostalgia in each and every bite! This is hands down the best cake in Syracuse and I’ve been to all the bakeries here. Made from scratch, moist flavorful cake, delicious fresh strawberry filling, light whipped cream, not too sugary. He also has many other fillings to choose from. This is a 10/10 cake! The owner was very nice, my husband stopped in and grabbed some Italian cookies for me and mentioned how awesome the owner was. The cookies were great! Definitely recommend trying them out

The owner (Fran, I rhink) spends ti.e with you talking about his goods. Super warm and friendly place with good baked goods. It's a small neighborhood place. He said he does catering. I got a bunch of stuff (kind of a carb addict). Everything was fresh and delicious. The place wasn't the cleanest I've seen but far from the dirtiest. I wish it were a little more polished but not a deal breaker in light of the warm welcome and great pasteries. Will definitely be back.
