Pat's Donuts & Kreme

We stopped here after a friend recommended this place. We were looking for lunch and some donuts. I ordered the sloppy dog my wife had the regular sub and my daughter had a small cheese pizza with extra cheese. The sloppy dog was pretty good the sub as expected but the cheese pizza was really good. It had that flavorful chewy cheese and a tangy sauce. As for the donuts we got mostly "filled sticks" which are long icing filled and covered with icing donuts. We loved the triple chocolate. Yum! The time to get food was a little long considering it was around 4pm. They do have a few table with chairs for dining there but best to take out.

Place looks cool, lacks space somewhat tho, it’s like a grab n go place, was here in the area and heard good things…. The service is great and prices are fair, the donuts taste good but not the best… if you like donuts and such get there if by the area, good space to park. Can be tricky on way out.

Donut was great. Hearty. Big. But prices atr 300% higher than other places

These are the most expensive donuts Ive ever purchased for their sized. 2 for $5. Oil needed changing in the fryer from the taste. Cream sticks where flat tasting. They seemed scooped out of a commercial bucket of dough. I've eaten alot of apple fritters in my day. Ill give them a 6. If you make it to Columbus and you like fritters, hit up Buckeye Donuts.

Pats donuts is a must try if you are in Lima. All of their donuts are delicious, but there are two specific donuts that I highly recommend. The first is the croissant donut. Not only does it have the sweet outer coating, but it has layers of flaky buttery goodness inside. The croissant donut is probably one of their rarest donuts. If you're not there early in the morning, you're probably not going to get a chance to try it, unless you're incredibly lucky that day. The second is the bacon donut. It's a regular Pat's donut with maple frosting and a generous amount of bacon. If you are trying to watch your weight, this is not the donut for you. But if you need a great breakfast in the morning and you love bacon, you're going to want to try it.
