Paul Bunyan Restaurants

Absolutely love their burgers from the Post Falls location but I hardly doubt other locations suck! Always greeted with smiling faces when I approach the counter to order very very rare it is that any employee is straight faced, I know "put on a happy face" is part of the working with the public persona but a happy atmosphere at this establishment is exactly why I keep returning!!!! Oh yeah, not to mention the burgers........... ABSOLUTELY DANK!! And one more thing, the shakes.......... If your a shake freak like myself avoid this place at all cost (Just kidding). They make them the exact way you order them and made with absolutely real ice cream, not that fake nastiness from the huge burger chains. Like I haven't gloated about Paul Bunyon enough........ This review is mixed and takes into consideration the low cost. Fried pickles were excellent but the burger patty was very thin and lacked flavor. Styrofoam cups downgraded the experience some. Overall the food quality and experience aligned well with the less than $7 meal price. The venue offered a 30-year throwback vibe. Friendly customer service.

I usually go to the Hayden location but was in Post Falls so I thought I'd grab 2 orders of fried pickle chips for my son and I. Each order was more like half an order, they were BARELY done because after only 3 I tasted batter mix and the fry sauce tasted mostly like ketchup. I spit out the last icky raw batter covered pickle because it was SOOO DISGUSTING!!! I'M NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!!! There's a TOTAL LACK OF QUALITY CONTROL AND I'LL NEVER TRUST THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!! My son FULLY felt the same!! 2 orders that barely totalled the size of 1, raw/barely fried and "fry sauce" that was 90% ketchup! Save your money and go somewhere that ACTUALLY gives you something you can eat!!!!

First time I've eaten at any Bunyan's, and ill definitely go back. Burger was great, fries were good (not too salted as so many are these days), milkshake was delicious, and their tarter sauce was amazing! Tarter sauce is like no other. It's the small things, 😉 employees were very nice, and joking around having a good time, which I like to see. That means they enjoy their job. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone! Can't wait to go back.

I have always had great experiences here. This was my husband and I's first date location and we've come every year on our anniversary since. And last year after getting married we came and got lunch in our wedding get up. I like coming here, good food and good people.
