Peanut’s

Went for deer processing and we had a great and easy experience. First of all I cannot express how friendly the staff is here. Peanut and his spouse Gabby were great to deal with. We explained being we have very young children (baby & toddler) we did not want the ground meat and sausage too spicy and they fulfilled. Most places when you say “not too spicy/hot” it is still way too hot for children. The best item/family favorite that I intended to write about are the burritos he made for us. Wow these were hands down delicious and up to par with any nice Mexican restaurant burritos you could get. We enjoyed them so much we wish we had ordered more. Now we know what and where we will be going for our deer processing ! Thank you so much.

Peanuts place is the most authentic, down home, camp food restaurant in Louisiana. You can find better tasting or prepared food anywhere. They treat every meal like it’s a special occasion and it’s something they always prepare fresh. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Nothing better than a great meal with friendly conversation with good friends. Let’s not forget the freezer section. A variety of meals and amazing meats to take home. The best gumbo, shrimp and corn bisque you’ll ever eat. They cater and push out orders no matter how big to working people ordering to pick up and you never wait for your food and it’s always hot and fresh. Oh and the snowballs always make you feel like a kid getting a prize after a baseball game. It’s the environment that Peanut and Gabby created that

We had an awesome lunch there today! Fried green beans were soooo good!!! I am addicted to them! Could eat those everyday! Great environment too! Great good and sausages for purchase!!! Yummy!

We were passing through on a road trip and wanted to stop at an authentic local restaurant. We found Peanut’s on google maps and we’re so glad we stopped! Great food, great people and they sell their own spices and refrigerated options to-go!
