Customer Reviews
A delightful dimsum and Cantonese culinary addition to the Tri-Valley! Our host, Adam, and others were very welcoming and attentive throughout our dining experience with menu recommendations and even changing our plates for fresh ones after a few courses. Flavors were exquisite with fresh ingredients. Everything was impeccable down to the tongsui (dessert) served at the end of the meal. Sea bass had a fragrant light breading, fried rice was replete with delightful and harmonious ingredients. The real highlight was the crispy pork appetizer that is candied atop with a fresh cucumber mayonnaise sauce. Come early in the morning to avoid queuing for dimsum. Dinner portions are generous and attention to the plating of each dish added to the experience. Highly recommend this new spot to gourma
The bbq pork buns here is so unique and delicious! The fluffy bun dessert is also great for toddlers! Best to come here before 11am or after 1pm on weekends, otherwise there'll be a long wait.
Recently opened, Pearl Bay Restaurant is a welcome addition to Dublin’s dining scene, offering a fresh spot for quality dim sum. The dishes are flavorful and nicely presented — definitely one of the better places in the area for authentic dim sum favorites. Service is generally friendly but still finding its rhythm — a bit of fine-tuning would make the experience smoother. One small suggestion: adding condiments like soy sauce, chili oil, and vinegar directly on each table would make things more convenient for diners.
Good alternative to their flagship in Fremont. Smaller and same menu. Highly recommend the Roast Duck in Soup Sauce.
We had dinner here day after the 9/29/2025 grand opening. Atmosphere is nice, it is remodeled from the previous On the Border Restaurant. Fancy presentation of dishes, food quality meets standard, prices are a bit higher compared to Koi, but there are more attracitve variety choices. We have yet to try others to tell. We noted on the dim sum menu every grade of dim sum is about $1 to $2 more compared to Koi. Hope this new restaurant will keep up good work otherwise they will have a challenging time competing with their higher prices.
