Other reviews mentioning poor customer service are absolutely correct. Some of the baristas use such disrespectful tones and language to customers who have done nothing wrong or even said anything! As I sat enjoying my drink, which was great, in a clean and good vibe store location, the experience was definitely negatively affected by overhearing a barista talking down to customers for not knowing that the mobile order pickup area was separate from the in-store order pickup area. The customers weren’t saying anything, just literally standing and waiting, yet the barista was so rude. I was incredulous. If you want good drinks, but don’t mind the risk of rudeness as a free side dish, then come here.

This one is to the staff, if you don’t enjoy in customer service job or don’t have a skill set for jt, I kindly suggest you consider another line of work. I’ve been coming here many times over the years and always tried to give the staff the benefit of the doubt, maybe they had bad day? But it’s impressive how consistently unpleasant the vibe is! It’s truly exhausting walking in and being greeted with bad attitudes every single time. And mind you, my order has always been simple and easy so I don’t understand the irritation they’ve given when I asked for “oatmilk” as if it’s something they’ve never heard of. Super friendly staff, but this location is just alright across the board. Tired of paying for chai, matcha, etc. that just tastes like milk. For $6-7? A lot of the issues at this location boil down to poor management and subpar onboarding. I dont blame the employees for most mistakes as most of them could've been avoided with proper and consistent training. Also, tired of the entitled and situational unaware clientele this place attracts. Tons of kids who dont clean up after themselves, and customers who give the baristas a hard time for no reason. Its an odd location. Ideal when its slow/quiet, but chaotic during the holidays/peak hours.

I was treated so badly at the Clayton store in concord. As soon as I ordered, the staff had a really bad attitude towards me. She made me feel unwelcome, like if I was a homeless begging for food. Unfortunately I did not see her name tag. The other staff that was there saw that and did not do anything to stop her coworker’s bad attitude. For the past two months, i decided to go there Instead of Starbucks because I preferred Peet’s. I can’t put up with this kind of customer service, just for a cup of coffee!!

Great staff coffee is the best here. If you want a real drink made by a barista not made in a machine this is the spot
