Customer Reviews
I recently visited Pelagos Cafe in Naples with my family, and it was such a great experience. The restaurant has more of an old-school, traditional feel — it’s not modern or recently renovated — but that honestly adds to its charm. It feels like a place that has been serving the community for years. The restaurant was completely full when we went, which says a lot about how popular and well-loved it is. The service was excellent. The servers were very kind, attentive, and welcoming to me and my family. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. Now the food — truly authentic. We started with the lamb and rice dolmades as an appetizer. They were flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and tasted very traditional. For my main course, I had the lamb shish kebab, and it was absolutely
Nice greek restaurant. The lamb chops were good but a bit over cooked. I was disappointed they didn't have any other lamb dishes and had only two desert options. Generally, everyone enjoyed thier meal.
How anyone could possibly give this venue a five star review is beyond me. We were the only two people who showed up at 5pm on a Friday night. Around 7:20 pm a party of 6 showed up. We ordered a “Greek-salad with grilled shrimp. Our plates arrived with 4 tiny shrimp that smelled fishy and tasted like they had been frozen and thawed twice. The Greek salad consisted of four Kalamata olives with pits intact. Two slivers of tomato, one Pepperoncini’s green pepper and one almost invisible slice of purple onion. I did not detect any feta cheese at all so if it was in there I didn’t taste or see it. I was embarrassed to have suggested this Restaurant. I haven’t stopped apologizing for it to my friend of 30 years. I’d you like Greek food do yourself a favor and go somewhere any where else but
Decent food. Gyro platter was processed meat. Other dishes looked homemade. Definitely very dated atmosphere. But food was good
The quality of the food was very excellent. We had a classic gyro sandwich, a mediterranean salad, and lemon egg drop soup - everything was delicious. 😋
