Pellegrino Imports of Malta

If I wasn't so full, I could eat another two of these right now. Surprised I never reviewed Pellegrino before, as I know I've been here in the past, but that just gives me all that better the excuse to come back. Ordered over the phone ahead of time, going with two footlong subs, one hot and one cold. The Chicken Cutlet Parm and a Honey Maple Turkey with Smoked Gouda and Honey Mustard. Only coming to a bit over $25, which for the sheer heft of these torpedos is more than acceptable. Both were wrapped up nice and snug, meaning when I got home the hot sub was still warm and the cold sub was still chilled. The chicken cutlet was simply amazing, so simple, and the first sandwich to be devoured. Soft but not soggy Italian bread, tender and savory breaded chicken, tangy red sauce and a lovely

Very quaint inside, very quick and good customer service. Love both locations this one and the one in Albany. This is my husband and my favorite place to go to for the most delicious italian mix sub's and potato salad. They also have very good fresh salads that are worth a try. Definitely recommend coming here, no there is no where to sit to eat like the one in Albany but still need to try this place at least once. They do have soda's also along with assorted Italian foods that you can prepare at home such as pasta, sauces and etc. or buy meat and cheeses and fresh bread to do it at home yourself.

I went to Pellegrino's in Malta to pick up dinner since it was a long day. Wow! The stuffed peppers were amazing and huge arancini the size of a softballs - stuffed meat and rice coupled with your Grandmother’s touch, the best!! Pair with a glass of wine, delicious. Italian cookies are next.

Fantastic deli!! I love macaroni salad and as a single person it's not cost effective to make my own. This is hands down the best in the area!! Just the basics with the right amount of seasoning and mayo..... The homemade sausage is fantastic as well. Great staff, friendly and efficient!

Stopped on our way home from Latham to get subs .Ordered 2 turkey 6 inch subs for dinner. Omg the best subs We have had on a long time . Only able to eat half of our half sub . Wish we lived closer . Service is top notch as well as the food .
