Penn Station East Coast Subs

Ordered 2 small subs and a medium fry online at noon, estimated 12:25 pickup. I got delayed at work and arrived at 12:45, and was told 2 minutes longer for the fries. Stepped outside to take a work call and came back in at 1pm. Inquired again about my order. Again was told 2 more minutes for fries. I ended up finally getting the 2 subs and fries at 1:10pm. An hour and 10 minutes after ordering, and 45 minutes after the estimated pickup time. That said, the staff were clearly overwhelmed by Doordash orders and were filling them first, before online orders and customers who ordered in person. They were all very friendly amd trying to do their best. The young gal who gave me my order gave me a free cookie for the long time I waited. Was told my order would be ready at 1233 when I arrived at 1240 my subs were done but my fries weren't. Waited 7 more minutes then asked the manager why my food wasn't done. He stated just because I placed an online order doesn't mean I don't have to wait. I said well you all gave me the time my food would be ready and it's 15 to 20 minutes past that time. He stated" I don't know what you want me to do." I said I would like to get my food it's getting cold and I have to get back to work. My subs were cold my fries weren't even cooked. Complete trash and the manager has an attitude like he is doing me a favor by doing his job. It's the job you selected and applied for stop acting like you are volunteering your service to the community.

I didn’t even mean to eat here. I stopped at the UPS store and had to pee. The place smelt so good - I couldn’t not get something. The place was clean. The food was good. The food smelled good. Most importantly, everyone was genuinely friendly/welcoming. 5/5 stars

Sub quality not good at all. Sign on door said buy large sub get one free. However, if you do not ask they automatically charge you for small sub and kid working counter could care less about you. Out of sweet tea. The employees just seem to be going through the motions of being there. We will not be going back to this particular location any time soon.

I won’t be back to this location again. I waited an hour for my food, which came out cold and skimpy. I had to switch to soda because the lemonade tasted like hose water. There were only 3 workers scheduled for this busy Sunday afternoon rush, one of them being brand new. After getting this $15 salad (pictured) I asked to return it and they made me wait for 45 minutes at the counter standing asking for help. They just continuously told me they’re busy. For $40 for two people to eat here, it is not worth it by any means.
