Pensacola’s Southern Soul Kitchen & Catering

I've been looking for a spot that serves good old fashioned Southern Soul food, and I found it. This place is exactly what I needed in my life. I knew when I saw a line of folks in there that the food was about to be swingin'. Fried chicken was crispy and seasoned to absolute perfection. It was hard to choose among the many amazing sides, but I had to try the greens and yams, which were out of sight. Cornbread wasn't too sweet either. I'm a sucker for a good plate, so I'll be returning on the regular, and I'll be bringing the family along. You must try this!

The oxtails had no seasoning the cabbage and dressing was bland. They would not make it in Mobile Alabama. Cozy and Mary’s kitchen would put belt to as on this restaurant. I will not be back friendly black on business the food is not that good . The people here in Pensacola supports this restaurant glad to see that. Mobile Al has the best food then New Orleans

Being from out of town and in the area shopping. Me and my brother was looking for some good food for lunch, we found this on google and the fact it said soul food, we had to try it!! There are plenty of options for meats and sides. All the food was very good, even the chittlins were on point. Grandma taught me you can’t eat everyone’s chitlins, but I was impressed!! Only thing I didn’t have was the hot sauce to go with them. You have to get the food to go, but with the service and the food, you won’t complain! Did I mention they have kool aid?!!! OMG!!

Food was just ok. Not extraordinary but not nasty either. We went in on a Friday evening and the wings were not hot. The collard greens were tasty.
