Peoria Public Library - Lakeview Branch

We were frying out of peoria, arrived early and did a quick stop at this library. Such a peaceful, clean, nice, small library. My 8.5 yo & I enjoying quick stops & some reading time in the middle of our busy days. My Origami skills are awful though...

This Is By Far My Favorite Library In Peoria. I'm Hurt That My Spencer Doesn't Work Here Amymore. I Miss Seeing His Face Whenever I Come In Every So Often. Well I'm Glad He's Doing Good With His Better Paying Job. SAD TO SEE YOU GO, BUT HAPPY FOR YOU. It's Definitely One Of Those BitterSweet Moments. Anyway Thank You For Always Providing Me With Such Good Service Here. I WILL FOREVER LOVE THIS LIBRARY AT THIS LOCATION. Libraries Gives You A Sense Of Peace. THANK YOU AGAIN!!! 🙏🏽❤️

Came for a kids craft project - The librarian in charge was plain not nice - She barked orders to the crowded room - yelled at kids, “ you only get 2 pieces of paper “ and “no sharing of crafts between tables -“ by 2:15 grabbed the supplies off the table - 2:30 turned away patrons . Craft scheduled 2:00-3:00 !! Disappointing !!!

Always bad vibes here. Especially if you have kids.

We're new to the area and the staff at the library were so helpful and friendly. Also, they have a great selection of movies to check out!
