Perks Eatery is one of those places that quietly becomes part of your story. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on my birthday, all the way from North Carolina, and just like every visit before, it reminded us why we always find our way back. The food is consistently excellent—comforting, thoughtful, cooked with the kind of care you can taste. But it’s the people who make this place feel like home. Every member of the staff is kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy you’re there. And then there’s Cameron—a man you won’t forget. Attentive without hovering, warm without trying, interesting in the way good people naturally are. He’s the kind of person who makes a meal feel like a moment. Lots of oddities, like one piece of toast not two. Side of fruit is a DIY project and others I'll not mention. Food was good and server friendly. I would return, but LOT'S of competition for breakfast so when they don't hit it out of the ballpark on my first visit and I have to pass four great breakfast spots to get there, good intentions don't always come to fruition.

My friend and I have eaten here with our wives several times for breakfast but never for lunch so we thought we'd give it a try and are glad we did. We each had the Lozoya sandwich (roasted pork, onions, red peppers with a cilantro-jalapeno sauce) which was delicious--loved the flavors and the tender meat. The service was excellent, too. Definitely will come back to try other lunch items.

This is easily one of the best diners around with amazing service and a spotless, beautifully decorated space. The red chili enchilada was incredible and tasted just like authentic New Mexican cuisine.

Good vibes. Great food. Surprising lack of food coma after. The food matches the hype. The chilaquiles were perfectly prepared with a unique green chile (a touch sweet to go with traditional tomatillo tart and green chile). The chicken-chorizo scramble with red chile (aka crazy chicken) was a tasty concoction. Our littles had the lemon-ricotta french toast (amazing!) and basic hot cakes combo. Everything was nicely prepared and delicious. Even the sides (home style potatoes and the most perfect sourdough toast) were stand out. Service was efficient, accurate, and freakishly friendly! Very happy, good energy environment. Guessing they take decent care of staff. Probably a contributor to higher price point (for a breakfast spot). Value was definitely commensurate with price (esp
