Pesce Seafood House

Service was great and beyond exceptional. A place to try for special occasion for seafood. We had the grilled octopus and sardines for appetizers. Both are great options. We had the Connecticut version of lobster roll which came in hot. The catch of the day was a pan seared cod. It was good. The hit was the squid ink risotto. This place is great to celebrate special occasions but not for weekly or even monthly dining. Would be cost prohibitive.

The service was precise and attentive without being intrusive. The dining room was spotless. Our server knew the menu inside and out and paced everything well. The lobster bisque was deeply flavorful and balanced, easily the best I’ve had. The sardines were fresh and clean tasting. The affogato and the key lime mousse were the right finish, light, bright, and not overly sweet.

We ordered scallops it was good but the quantity was very little. We also ordered the lobster linguiny and it was very good. Overall, good food but was not worth the price. Overall we enjoyed the experience. The place was cozy and staff were welcoming.

If Google had 10 stars, this place commands it! Wow...This place is nothing short of perfection! From the minute we walked in the door, superb customer service, owner is phenomenal! Starts with complimentary mini cornbread muffins, we ordered Bouillabaisse and crab cakes, the BEST we've ever had! Topped off with the key lime dessert. Must try this stop for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed!

The food was exceptional. Each dish, from the appetizers to the desserts, was beautifully presented and flavorful. The service was also outstanding. The server, Jen, was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. She offered excellent recommendations and ensured a flawless dining experience.
