Peter Chang absolutely delivers on bold, memorable flavors. The vegetable fried rice was deeply satisfying, and the eggplant dish was truly unique — one of those plates you keep talking about after the meal. The dumplings were outstanding across the board: crystal shrimp dumplings, steamed pork dumplings, and pork-and-shrimp wontons were all packed with flavor and perfectly executed. The lamb shank was a massive hit at the table and easily a showstopper. We also loved the bubble scallion pancake. The servers were attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about every dish, and genuinely helpful when walking us through the menu. Overall, an excellent dining experience with standout dishes — and a big bonus that it’s very vegetarian-friendly with plenty of other menu items to try next time.
I’m glad I came to try this delicious food. We had an absolutely exceptional dining experience at Peter Chang! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, elegant, and full of energy. The food was beyond impressive — beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and bursting with authentic flavor in every bite. A very special thank you to our waiter, Chris, who made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. Service like his makes all the difference.
Made a reservation for a special occasion on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Despite the holiday, the place was very busy. Probably due to the crowd, the orders came out in an atypical order - entrees before appetizers, for example. That said, the food was fresh and well prepared. For my palate, some dishes were delicious while others tended toward bland. Some stand out dishes that I haven't seen elsewhere included the scallion bubble pancake (unique and tasty but very oily on the bottom) and the dry fried red pepper chicken (not at all bland!). Price was reasonable for the quantity of food.
I must say this is one of the most pleasant experience at an Asian restaurant of late. The service was impeccable, the food is on point, great flavors and presentation. Amd the menu pricing is very fair and the portions are good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I love the choicesnon the menu amd the different small plates available. If youre a pork belly fan, this is the place. They have a section on pork belly !!! The chef is of James Beard caliber and definitely shows. Check out the picks..... S&S Branzino was excellent! Pork belly to die for and my wife loved the vegetarian tofu dishes. Well seas9sned and presented. Will be back soon!
We visited Peter Chang KOP for lunch after seeing many positive reviews online. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was quite busy at noon. We tried several recommended dishes, including the Jiang River Spicy Beef, Numbing Green Peppercorn Flounder, Osmanthus Honey Pork Ribs, Dan Dan Noodles, and Farmer’s Stir Fry. The Farmer’s Stir Fry was excellent , light, simple, and delicious. However, most of the other dishes were overly sour or sweet for our taste. Jiang River Spicy Beef, Big portion and tender beef, but way too sour and a little sticky. There was a ton of cabbage and not enough balance in flavor. Flounder with Green Peppercorns, another sour dish! It felt like 80% cabbage and 20% fish. Definitely too much vinegar. Osmanthus Honey Pork Ribs, Super sweet, sof
