What a quaint and warm place to have French pastries and crepes. The owners were very friendly and warm to everyone who came in. They had a new item that day and it was delicious! Cinnamon bread with light custard; not too sweet with just the right cinnamon taste. Cappuccino is very good, no burnt taste of the espresso at all. All in all I enjoyed my time here, will look forward to have one of their quiches as they all sound so good. 😊

I thoroughly recommend the Petit Bretagne French cafe! It feels like you're in Europe, and the coffee and food (pastries, sandwiches, crepes) are fantastic. We are coffee aficionados and have tried all the cafes in Mamaroneck; we think that Petit's expresso and cappucino are the best in Mamaroneck (it's flavorful and smooth, not at all bitter). The owner and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and it feels like we're visiting friends. We have also visited their cafe in Rye and enjoyed it there too.

Walking in, you feel instantly transported to France—everything from the café’s name to the chef and waitress’s accents, the décor, the French music, and even the little signs on the wall feels authentically French. The crêpes are outstanding—thin, delicate, and flavorful, one of the best I’ve had outside of France. The croque madame was rich and comforting, with a perfectly fried egg on top. The macarons were a touch dense but still very enjoyable. Coffee is available, though the cappuccino was just average, not the star of the show. We even picked up some French chocolate, which had nothing different from American ones :D. This café nails the vibe: cozy, charming, and thoroughly French. Come here for the food and stay for the atmosphere. A gem in town.

This afternoon I walked into a local Persian Cafe in my neighborhood. Out of the assortment of pastries available. I zoned in on the Linden Chocolate Chippers. Not something I would typically desire to get. Ironically. The Linden Cookies had a significant meaning in my life in the late 80’s. Attending Junior HS in The Bronx. Kids would line up around the cafeteria to get their Linden Cookies with their lunch. I never had a chance to get Linden Cookies because I only had enough money for lunch which was 75 cents at that time. A majority of the kids at the school got lunch for free and used their lunch money for cookies. I felt like an outcast and ridiculed because I didn’t have extra money for cookies and had to pay full price for lunch. The struggle was real and one afternoon. I ended up u

Happy it's here. A lovely, independent neighborhood spot convenient to walkers. Coffee and baked goods are excellent. Its popularity is a problem because it's so cramped. Several tables crammed together, multiple conversations within close earshot. I go here often, but I wish they had a little more space.
