Peñitas Public Library

As an avacate of our children I want my voice to be heard of what happened at Peñitas Public Library on 7/23/2024 . I arrived to attend an activity with my love one .The activity was to design a mirror or brush . I was told my child couldn't attend and asked me to leave . I waited an hour and no one told me anything. My child was crying and was having a mental breakdown in the vehicle due to not understanding why we couldn't attend this event . Previous to this event we attended another activity on 7/22/2024 and was told that we could attend whether you were a girl or a boy . We were looking forward for this event and waiting anxiously. We were giving a calendar of the events and that's what we were following. I was not the only one asked to leave . The look on the children was devastatin

Nice community library. A little small,but nice that they have one. Nicely decorated and had computer which I needed. The librarian was nice and helpful.

Good quiet place to enjoy a book. The computers performance varies on which computer you use. Some are excellent and others not so much. Staff is very helpful as well

The google page should be updated. You say you are open & then have signs reading "employees only" on the door. Total waste of time. Taxpayers need these locations. This place should be shut down. There is always something with this library.

Fun place for kids to play & read, and just be carefree. Friendly staff and very clean.
