Phat Boy Sushi, Kitchen & Bar - Downtown

Stopped by for lunch and honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed. Food came out very fast, everything was fresh and seriously tasty. The sushi was clean, well-balanced, and the poke bowl was packed with quality fish and fresh ingredients. You can tell they don’t cut corners. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable — not cramped like many sushi spots. Big bonus: plenty of parking, which makes it easy and stress-free to stop by. For the quality you get, the prices are more than fair. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner.

This is a huge restaurant with so many dining options, whether you’re planning a date night 💕, meeting friends 👯‍♀️, or enjoying some me time at the bar 🍸. The seasonal décor was lovely 🎄✨ and added an extra layer of charm to the space. There are great photo opportunities throughout 📸😍 if you like capturing the moment. Service was quick, polite, and well paced ⏱️🙂, which made the visit feel easy and relaxed. We were in and out within an hour ⏰, perfect for a lunch break without feeling rushed. There are a few free parking spots in the rear 🚗, though they likely fill up fast during peak times. Paid lots are also available

Very pleasant place. Large portions, and the rolls are genuinely delicious — the rice is cooked properly with an ideal texture. The rolls are well balanced, with plenty of filling and very little rice; thin, neat, and among the best in the area. Everything was very tasty. The interior is pleasant, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Service is at a good level: the staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. Definitely a place you want to come back to.

Absolutely amazing sushi. This is my favorite sushi spot in Fort Lauderdale. The service was great, the place was packed. Food came out fast. The Ramen was amazing. Great taste great broth. I loved the sushi rolls as they ping-pong flavors in your mouth so lovely to eat. The Masha tea help keep the food down, and the dessert just wow like how did they come up with this stuff? The banana stick straws with the ice cream and all everything just hit.!! 🔥🔥🏆

Now let’s get into this FOOD because whew 😮‍🔥 The sushi options? CRAZY. From classic rolls to specialty rolls stacked and sauced just right — everything was fresh, flavorful, and hitting. But let me tell you about that fried shrimp 🍤✨ Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, seasoned like somebody’s auntie was in the kitchen making sure it was right. And that fried rice w shrimp chicken & steak!?! Listen… I do not play about fried rice. This might
