Phil's Famous Pizzeria

I love to try pizza everywhere I go. Was a little skeptical here for some reason, but the pizza was excellent and definitely did not disappoint. Sauce was very tasty, good amount of cheese, and a nice, crisp crust! I'm new to Sea Isle, but will be back to Phil's for pizza. (side note, my gf got a Greek salad and that was unfortunately really, really weak - iceberg lettuce, barely any "Greek" topping to it). But, this place is a pizza place and this is a pizza review...so it gets 5 stars for their pie!

Never order from this restaurant They got my order wrong and blamed it on me. I ordered a Chicken Stromboli and the were rude and said I ordered a cheese Stromboli and asked me multiple times. Why would they ask me multiple times if I ordered cheese? This doesn’t even make sense. They were rude when I politely asked if they could address. They told me they only charged me for cheese so it shouldn’t be an issue. I suggest you order elsewhere unless you are desperate for food. I also waited 30 minutes longer than they told me.

Stop what you’re doing. You think the wait is long? Order anyways. Downright incredible pizza. The Swirl ™ is what you have to get. Lets start with the sauce. Its sweet. Its tangy. Its balanced perfectly with a thin layer of cheese that does not overpower the freshly made sauce. The ratio is perfection. And now for the crust. It has to be the best crust I have ever had. Crunchy without being burnt, flakey without falling apart, and seasoned to perfection. This pizza is so good you will eat and eat beyond your fill until it has been incinerated off the table. Also Cheesesteaks come with great sesame seed rolls with friendly servings of beef. 5/5 must come here

Really enjoyed their sausage and meatball pizza. The crust is crisp and the way they do their sauce on the cheese seems to make it taste even better. Would recommend trying it! (Sorry for the missing pieces in the photos lol it went fast)
