Phil's Pizza

Pizza was incredible, cheese was perfectly melted, perfect ratio of cheese to crust, and cooked perfectly. Only complaint was that many reviews mentioned a rude woman working behind the counter. However when I ordered my food, I was disappointed to find that the woman in question was actually very nice. I’m not one who enjoys restaurants with intentionally rude service, but this did still disappoint me. The pizza is really good though…

First time having Phil’s and I’ll give it five stars purely for the pizza, because that’s what matters at the end of the day. Service is straightforward, no pleasantries (I like that) and the restaurant itself is your typical Chicago sit-down pizza spot. Great pizza, very much lives up to the hype.

Very good Chicago style thin crust - a true Chicago pizza, seen via the "historic Italia" map box/paper. If I lived on the south side this would be a go to for me.

I guess sb was upset bc I asked them not to mess up this order like the previous time and what they do the sent a small when i paid for a medium!!!!!!! Last time the driver gave me the wrong pizza and the company was suppose to send a large bit still brought back a medium. THIS IS A SMALL PIZZA .I ORDER FROM YOU GUYS TOOO MUCH .... I WILL NOT ORDER FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN

This place is fine, but not as good as I was hoping. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and an onion mushroom pepper pizza for our vegetarian friend. They put the pepperonis under the cheese, which is disappointing. I much prefer them on top where they get crispy. Also, they added sausage to the veggie pizza. Not just, like, a piece of sausage snuck on, but there was a full order of sausage. I checked our receipt and it correctly said only the veggies, so there must have been a mix up on their end. Normally I wouldn't complain about free sausage, but the pizza was for our vegetarian friend and so they weren't able to eat it at all. Also, I live too far away and it was too late for me to want to go all the way back just to get a replacement pizza. So yeah, it's a fine place, but I probably won't
