Pho Viet Restaurant

I like this place a lot. Usually go pretty regularly because my mom’s office is very close to the restaurant. I highly recommended the seafood pho with chili sauce, chicken pho with hot chili sauce and shrimp fried rolls. They are awesome with good flavor and really good service.

Amazing food. I especially love the special fried rice and the Banh Mi BBQ Sandwiches. The bread is crunchy on the outside but very soft on the inside and the veggies are very fresh. It gets very busy during lunch hour on weekdays so keep in mind that parking and seats may be tricky to find at that time. Very highly dining in and to-go meals.

4.2 star is a big statement for this resturant. Food wise, the pho broth is good but there is a freaking plastic in my soup. Service is bad and dirty, too. They didn't clean the previous bowls and plates and just leave it on other tables. Non of the staff is present. Paying 30$ for that kind of service and food and kinda crazy where I could have choke on that plastic.

Portion is good and service is excellent. However, soup has not beef flavored broth. Felt like boiling water mix with five spice. Meat cut is decent. Next time I will try the vermicelli dish. Looks like more folks are ordering this and the rice dish.

Ordered #11 Rare Steak and #12 Lean Well done Brisket to-go. There was no small option when ordering to-go, so that was an inconvenience. Other than that, taste was good and over all was a 4/5. The menu is very simple and easy to order from so if you’re looking for a quick option for pho this would be a good stop. But over all there are better places in San Jose to select.
