It was my friend's idea to try this place...turned out to be a good one. The food we tried was well plated and delicious! Portions are large enough to share so order different items. The only downside was we had to keep waiting on our server as they appeared short staffed. We went on a Saturday at 1pm. The prices were fair and the 🍸🍹were very tasty. We will return another day🙂
I absolutely love this restaurant. I normally do the Phoenix Shrimp but my friend and I wanted to try the Honey Chicken. The Phoenix Shrimp is still my favorite and the honey chicken id good as well. We started with the Sweet Pepper calamari and also got the Shrimp Tempura roll. My friend and I split this and we were stuffed. The waiter was really attentive which is always the case here.
I recently had lunch at Phoenix Asian Cuisine, and it was a fantastic experience. The Phoenix chicken was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. It had a great balance of flavors, and the portion size was generous. I also tried the Phoenix sushi roll, which was fresh and well-prepared, with a unique combination of flavors that really stood out. The restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a flavorful and satisfying meal. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner!
We arrived at 2:09 and the front desk hostess immediately told us, “just so you know we stop serving lunch at 2:20 and we all leave at 2:30 because we work all day.” I asked if they were still serving, and she said only if we already knew what we wanted already. The interaction felt very unwelcoming and unfriendly. I completely understand having a lunch cutoff time, but there’s a polite way to communicate that to customers. If staff are going to be frustrated with people coming in after a certain time, it would make more sense to stop seating guests earlier rather than making them feel like an inconvenience. This was especially disappointing because I had brought others with me and had talked highly about this place beforehand. Their reaction was the same they felt the hostess was rude a
It was our first time here and we were pretty excited to try it out, but it was kind of a let down. The food wasn’t bad, but it was definitely not worth it at that price point. It was average, nothing extraordinary. Takeout quality. We ordered 2 apps, 2 sushi, 2 entree, and it was definitely higher than most places. The sushi, fried rice, and lo mein was not entirely that bad though. The service was good. I get that dark restaurants are cool, but it can be too dark.
