Right in the center of the restaurant district of La Jolla Shores is an understated and elegant Italian restaurant offering a beautifully intimate experience near the crash of the waves and the energy of happy beach visitors. This place was always packed when I would walk by and I finally enjoyed their appeal. The squash ravioli was divine. The walnut cream sauce felt like a warm hug, and to top it off, Art, our server made me feel so at home that I felt full of both laughter and pasta. I highly and warmly recommend this spot 💕💕

Beautiful restaurant in La Jolla with a really nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Rotolo, which was delicious, the mushrooms and spinach went really well together. The penne was also great with a perfect sauce. The mashed potatoes and Italian bread were excellent sides.

My daughters took me to Piatti in La Jolla for my birthday while visiting San Diego. The service was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the have a very nice outdoor seatings as well. The food was mostly very good, but I ordered Vesuvio and it was a bit on the salty side. The prices are a bit high, but for San Diego, it felt fair. I would go back again.

We loved it! I had the lasagna!! It was decadent and delicious! We love the cocktails and it was simply beautiful. The staff took excellent care of us. Oh..and I will be dreaming about the bread and dipping sauce! Yum!

Such a lovely setting, and a charming patio. The food was delicious and well prepared and paired well with refreshing drinks. Friendly service and relaxing ambiance.
