Picante Mexican Taqueria

Truly some of the best food in Tri-Cities. The service is top notch, the bartender is a gem. I asked her to make me a sort of strange margaritas, guava jalapeño, and it was *perfection* in a glass. The birria is some of the best I have ever had, and don't even get me started on the salsa. The avo-lime is so good, but the pineapple habanero is out of this world. If you have a chance, I highly recommend checking this place out. Not a single thing from the menu has been disappointing. Absolutely a town favorite.

Pretty good experience at Picante! Upon walking in we were seated promptly and brought menus. Our waitress brought us a variety of house made salsas to try with our chips. They were so delicious! I noticed that while we were there, they seemed to be a bit short staffed-causing a bit of a wait. I didn’t mind as our waitress brought us our beverages and more chips. I got a coconut pineapple margarita that I believe is $14. The drink was good, not very strong but tasty 😋 Upon ordering our food, I got 3 birria con queso tacos and my husband got a birria torta. Both items were delicious with some leftovers. This is a great date night spot or spot for a small family. I would recommend calling ahead or ordering to go if you have a larger group due to space. Great service and friendly staff. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were absolutely delicious! The shrimp was fresh and perfectly cooked, the tortillas were warm, and the toppings added a great balance of flavor and texture. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty seafood with a Mexican touch! 🌮🦐

First time back for food since they opened and it was amazing. Had the chile relleno and I liked it more than my mom’s cooking which is super rare for me. Fair warning though that sauce on top is spicy, and so delicious. Husband had the birria grilled cheese and loved it too. Excited to come back when the ceviche is in season <3

Came here for lunch and I ordered the pozole with pork. It came with cabbage, beets, onions and lime. Portion is really big and delicious. The staff was really friendly and pretty quick for a to go order. I will have to come back and try the tacos and burritos because they look big and mouth watering. I'm overall happy with my experience.
