Piccolo Sogno

Very local neighborhood kind of place.. which i like and enjoy personally. My buddy Bobby told me about how he has been going there for years. Like more of a family setting then some over the top Italian restaurant. Food was fantastic.. my wife had the chicken robere( in picture)...and she is very picky.. but she absolutely loved it.. had the broccoli in garlic and oil with linguine as a side i had an incredible veal marsala.. with marsala mushroom fettuccine... wow..had to get more bread for the sauce.. the service help was also very attentive and always smiling. I like that as well. Very positive experience.. we will be part of the family now. Bobby's local 3 family..lol

Came here for dinner for the first time and it was such a GREAT experience! First off, the chef himself came to our table and greeted us and took our order (which i thought was odd bc usually waitresses do that). He had 2 other waitresses but they were mainly serving food and cleaning the tables when needed. I did notice the chef went to every table and took everyone's order, did small talk and laugh, was attentive and checked in on everyone time to time while going to the back to cook. Now you definitely don't see that in restaurants nowadays and it gave such a warm home feeling the entire time. It seems he wants every customer that walks in to feel like they're not just here to eat and leave but it's more of a cozy, friendly vibe. I've never been to Italy but if this is how they are ove

One of my favorite Italian restaurants! The hidden gem of bayside. Food is always fresh, wine is always good, and the service always makes you feel special. Pepito de cozi is my favorite!

We found this place by accident after a quick search in the area. I cannot say enough. The food and flavors were excellent of 3 separate meals. All had a a taste of each! This place is a gem from welcoming, service and experience. It is absolutely worth it and even though it is a 1.5 hour trip we will return as I need to try the rest of the menu! BRAVO

This was an amazing culinary experience we got to have as our last meal before we left NYC. And it was the most amazing meal we had during our trip. The food was prepared with the love and care only a true Italian chef uses. We were greeted multiple times by the Chef. He paired wine with our meals, offered his suggestions of his menu. And our entire table was left happy and amazed at the food we ate. The staff was amazing, attentive and wonderful.
