Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors

I’ve been going to Pick Up Stix for years. I miss the one on Alicia Parkway, but this one is great as well. I still love the House Special Chicken, and when they have it, the House Special Chicken Nachos (usually it’s available before and during Cinco de Mayo). The deals they offer on the app keep me coming back, particularly the 25% discount on orders with two entrees, and of course the free entree if you get enough points on your app. Plus, the app makes it very convenient to order ahead so it’s ready when you get there, just make sure to add your utensils before you checkout. You can also add extra sauce or make certain things spicy.

Visited this location for a quick lunch. Location was clean and the service was friendly and quick. She was pressed with a large carry-out order, but still found the ability to serve her guest dining in. The Hot Honey was good, not great. Had a “heat” to it, but seemed to lack a real flavor profile that made my mouth happy. Plenty of sauce and a decent amount of chicken atop a mound of white rice. Not sure if I feel that the small lunch size portion and a drink are worth $14… But most food items are being price hiked during this business economic turmoil. Overall, not amazing, but not too bad, so no stars deducted. Just wasn’t wowed like I was hoping.

Such a great location and amazing experience! The food was amazing and the customer service was out of this world. Something you don’t see every single day and I really appreciate that. I came here on my lunch break and Ed took care of me. I placed an online to go order and he remembered my name and made sure I had all my utensils and sauces. He also offered me a cup of ice for my water which I really appreciated. He goes above and beyond in his work and I really appreciate that. Thank you, Ed. I will be back for sure.

Used to come to this place quite often a while ago, and today I decided to come by this place today. Now, normally I'm not one to complain but when I got home I was surprised and disappointed. I ordered to go and ordered the new Spicy Korean Chicken & Shrimp but got no shrimp at all. The Grilled Bourbon Chicken is a personal favorite but today, it was uneatable. Chicken didn't taste freshly made, it was very, very dry and hard to bite into and even more so to swallow, which leads me to believe that it was either old chicken, or had been pre-cooked and then heated up when I ordered it. I don't think I'll be back again for a while but please, do better next time!
