Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe - Fayetteville, AR

Had a kind of weird experience. Positive note: They have a huge menu! Lots of options. I didn't feel very welcome though...the gal at the "order here" spot didn't say anything to either me or my husband, so I kinda just told her my order and stood there. I think she should've then told us to go to the register to pay and "we'll get started on that" or something, but it was just radio silence....until she started talking over my shoulder to the customers behind us, like we were in the way. So I realized I should step out of the way and walk down to the register. I stood there for a minute or two. Then a guy came up to me and asked what I ordered, so I had to walk back down to the menu to see which # sandwich I ordered because I couldn't remember. Not sure why they didnt communicate that to

Good cafe dining while visiting Fayetteville. The turkey sandwich was good, but the pulled pork was a lot better (recommended). Staff was nice. Thank you.

I will never be able to eat at picklemans ever again as I spent this weekend spewing out of Both ends after eating Mac and cheese From here. The food safety department should make a visit because I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. I do appreciate losing a pant size over the weekend for new years.

Came here on a recommendation. After reading the reviews I went with the large Italian chopped salad. It was loaded with meat and veggies. Would have been better with chopped provolone instead of grated cheese but it was yummy and delicious. Need one in Tahlequah!

EDIT: changed from 3 star to 5 star because Jed, the manager took complete care of me and graciously fed my 2 roommates and I for free and personally made sure that everything was perfect, and let me tell you, it was! He gave me 3 pizzas cooked perfectly, a buuunch of pickles and 2- 8oz soups to share. He went above and beyond to make sure i was happy, he even gave me his personal number! It was one of the best pizzas ive had. He had his most trusted delivery person bring the food and it came in a timely manner and assured my food was brought perfectly so of course i slid him a smooth 20. I will definitely be back and Jed deserves a raise!! He made a potentially tense conversation totally easy, he made me feel heard and he handled it with grace.
